This guide demonstrates a quick and easy way to save iPhone text messages to a Word document using an app called CopyTrans Contacts.
The method below works for any type of iPhone messages such as SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, Viber and Line conversations and with all iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch models.
Bonus: it will also save all your attachments such as photos, videos, audio messages, etc from your conversation to the PC.

How to iPhone text messages to Word
Before you start following the guide below, you first need to download and install a nifty tool called CopyTrans Contacts that will provide you with an option to save iPhone messages in Word format:
Run CopyTrans Contacts and connect the device. CopyTrans Contacts will start loading your iPhone text messages. To access the iPhone messages, click on the speech-bubble icon on the left-hand side pane.
Choose the iPhone messages to save as a Word document. If you would like to save all your iPhone messages at once, check the box next to “Messages”.

To export messages for the specific period, click on a cogwheel symbol under the list of services and choose the exact time frame:
Now, click on the “Export selected” button to save iPhone messages.
Select “Word (multiple .doc files)” from the new window.
At this stage you may also choose some other file format like Web page format for the highest degree of interactivity with your backed up iPhone messages. We recommend Word format for editing your messages. PDF format is the best for archiving or printing your SMS. Also use PDF if you want to see all the emojis used in your conversations.
Choose the computer destination where to save the iPhone text message Word files. If unsure where to save, select the Desktop. Click OK.
The iPhone text messages are now saved in the individual Word *.doc files at the desired PC location.
You can open a text message with Microsoft Word by double-clicking on the .rtf (Word) file.
Warning: please don’t cancel the loading. Wait until the process is finished.
