“What I loved about this product is it downloads your album structure along with your photos. Cloudy will create one folder called ‘All Photos’ with every single one of your photos in it and then all your individual albums (such as Greece 2025) with the associated photos in it. To do this Cloudy does create duplicates and for some reason you can get more than 2 duplicates of the same photo even if that photo is only in one album, that I don’t understand. Make sure that every one of your albums in the photos app are uniquely named else cloudy will combine them on the PC. The tool worked brilliantly but 4 stars as it only replicates albums and not folders (subtle difference in Apple land) and therefore you don’t get a full structured hierarchy on your PC. it seems for safety reasons to be creating too many duplicates as well. It would also be nice if Cloudy handled future album changes (like changing the text of an album) but that does not seem to work very well. Finally, it would be amazing if the delete from iCloud could be selectable (I.e you could pick specific albums etc to deleted as well as the existing option to delete everything) and it would also be amazing if the upload feature could create albums in the Apple photo app. Apart from that best product on market for downloading massive iCloud libraries.”
