You can easily transfer BlackBerry contacts to iPhone using CopyTrans Contacts. It works with all phones running BlackBerry OS and all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models including iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus & iPhone X. In this guide we’ll use a BlackBerry Bold 9700 and an iPhone 6s.

The first step is to get the contacts from the BlackBerry. For the purpose, you need to download and install the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for PC, which is a free software developed by BlackBerry. You can download it from here:

Run the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and connect your BlackBerry through USB:

It’s always a good idea to make a backup of your BlackBerry first. Click “Back up now”:

In the settings window under “Backup type” select “Full” and start the backup by clicking “Back up”:

Wait for the BlackBerry backup to complete…

Once the backup is complete, go to “Organizer” and click “Configure settings…”
NOTE: If the Contacts option is greyed-out and shows “(syncing wirelessly)”, this means that you are currently syncing the BlackBerry contacts to an online service. Just turn off wireless synchronization from within your BlackBerry. If the wireless sync option is not available on the BlackBerry, check this troubleshooting article.

In the popup window, check the box against “Address Book” and make sure all the other boxes are unchecked. See the screenshot below:

Select “Windows Contacts” and click “Next”:
NOTE: if the Windows Contacts does not appear as an option, please select “Microsoft Outlook” instead. This will allow you to transfer the Outlook contacts directly to iPhone. -
Under “Direction of synchronization” choose “One way sync from Device” and tap on “Next”:

Click “Finish”:

Next, click “OK”:

To start transferring your BlackBerry contacts, choose “Sync”:

Review the changes that will take place and click “Accept”:

Your BlackBerry contacts are now backed up in the form of Windows Contacts on your PC:

under Windows 7 and Vista, the contacts are located in:
C:\Users\Username\Contacts. -
on Windows XP, the default contact location is found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Address Book.
Restore Blackberry contacts to iPhone
Now it’s time to transfer the contacts to the iPhone. This is where CopyTrans Contacts comes in handy as the program is designed to transfer contacts from PC to the iPhone.

Run CopyTrans Contacts. When the main program window shows up connect your iPhone:

Open the PC folder where you saved the BlackBerry contacts. Select all contacts you wish to transfer. To select all contacts in the folder, press CTRL + A:
NOTE: under Windows 7 and Vista, the contacts are located in:

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Address Book. -
Now, drag and drop the selected contacts to the open CopyTrans Contacts window. This will import the contacts directly to your iPhone:

That’s it! All BlackBerry contacts are now on the iPhone:
Once you transferred the BlackBerry contacts to your iPhone, you can continue using CopyTrans Contacts to manage iPhone contacts, notes and calendars using PC keyboard or back them up to your computer.
