This article demonstrates how to create playlists on iPhone or iPod without iTunes via CopyTrans Manager. CopyTrans Manager is the free iTunes alternative that helps you add, delete and edit playlists on any Apple iDevice, including iPhone 7s and iPad Pro. Let’s begin.

  1. Download CopyTrans Manager on your PC Download CopyTrans Manager

  3. Run CopyTrans Manager and connect the iPhone, iPod or iPad to the computer. The program lists all existing playlists and tracks on the device main copytrans manager window

  4. To add a new playlist, click on the blue “+” button in the “Playlists” pane add playlist button in copytrans manager

  5. Give the new playlist a name and hit the green “Update” button on top to apply the changes update button in copytrans manager

  6. Populate your new playlist with tracks via drag-drop drag and drop tracks from main copytrans manager to playlist
