I get a "QTCF.dll or sqlite3.dll was not found" error message
You will get this error when iTunes 9 is not correctly installed.
To fix the problem, please go through these instructions, and in the same order as posted below:
- Close all working applications
- Go to: Start menu/Settings/Control panel and select "Add/Remove programs"
- Uninstall in the following order:
- iTunes
- QuickTime
- Apple application support and Apple Mobile Device*.
- Reboot your computer
- Install a fresh copy of iTunes. You can download the latest version of iTunes from Apple's website.
If it does not fix the problem please refer to this FAQ entry which will explain how to contact us and what information we need to be able to help.
*All these will be re-installed with the new installation of iTunes.
