It’s really easy to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone using CopyTrans Contacts. In this demonstration we use a Samsung Galaxy S4 and an iPhone 5s. But the method works for Galaxy S5 and all other Android phones such as HTC One, Samsung Galaxy Note, Motorola Moto X, etc and for all iPhone models (5c, 5, 4S, 3GS …) running iOS 7 or earlier.

Unlike other methods, CopyTrans Contacts transfers all contact details such as photos, addresses, emails, notes, phone number types, etc. from Android to iPhone.

Let’s Backup the Android contacts

  1. On the Android phone, open the “People” or “Contacts” app depending on the phone model contacts application on samsung galaxy home screen

  2. Tap on the phone “Menu” button and then select “Import/Export” contacts import export menu on android phone

  3. Next, tap “Export to USB storage” or “Export to SD card” depending on the Android phone model. This will export the phone contacts to a single vCard file on your phone’s memory export android contacts to sd card

  5. Now connect the Android phone to the computer via the USB cable. If your phone is secured with a pin lock, make sure you unlock it. If the phone prompts you, set the connection type to “Disk Mode” or “USB connection (mass storage mode)”

  6. The phone will appear as a new portable drive within the “My Computer” section of your PC where all the rest of the PC drives are listed. Double-click on the drive called “Phone”.
