What is the most popular digital camera in the world? Your smartphone. Most of our photos nowadays live on a mobile device like an iPhone or iPad. Not surprisingly it’s rare that we ever have enough available storage on our iPhones. In fact, for the average iOS user, photos take the biggest chunk of free space.

Getting hitched-up to paid subscription services like iCloud can easily take hostage of your iPhone photos and it isn’t really the solution to freeing up space on the iPhone. Here’s what we advise instead in order to continue taking photos and videos despite the “Cannot Take Photo” message.

  1. Once the pesky message “There is not enough available storage to take a photo” appears, tap “Done”

  2. Download CopyTrans Photo and back up the iPhone photos to a location on your PC Click here to get your iPhone photos backed up main copytrans photo window

  3. Next, use CopyTrans Photo again in order to delete all or multiple photos from the iPhone. This will free up space for the next bunch of photos and should last a while. Delete photos from the iPhone Camera Roll delete photos from the iphone camera roll

In the end, you have all your photos backed up and easily accessible on your PC where you can hardly run out of space. You also end up with tons of newly-freed up space for the next round of awesome shots. There’s no need to upload thousands of private photos to third-party servers. Enjoy!
