Optional: erase all content from the old iPhone

If you are planning to give your old iPhone away or sell it, we advise you to erase all content and settings. Make sure that all of the contents are restored to the new iPhone. Next follow these quick steps on the old iPhone:

  1. Navigate to Settings > General > Reset reset option in iphone general settings

  2. Tap “Erase All Content and Settings”. erase all content and settings from iphone

  3. Confirm the erase by tapping “Erase iPhone”. confirm iphone erase
