When it comes to exporting iPhone SMS, iMessages, WhatsApp, Viber or Line chats, your choices are limited. There is no iMessages app on iCloud.com and you basically cannot display the messages on a computer or print them out easily unless you use the very crude method of taking screenshots of the conversations.

The steps below demonstrate an easy method to save iPhone messages and convert them to PDF so that you can readily print, share and view them away from the iPhone. This is especially useful for legal purposes as evidence in court but also for anyone who wants to keep track of and archive their private or business conversations. Let’s begin.
