Follow the below steps, if you have a Windows Phone and you wish to transfer your contacts to iPhone. The following tutorial works with Windows 7 or 8 Phones such as Nokia Lumia and HTC 8XT as well as all iPhone models and iOS versions including iPhone 6s and iOS 9.
First sync the Windows Phone contacts to a Microsoft account

Most of you would have already synced their Windows Phone contacts to a Microsoft account such as Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, or Live.com. If this is the case, skip directly to Step 6
NOTE: If you are currently syncing the Windows Phone contacts to a Gmail account, you can already transfer them to your iPhone by following this tutorial.

If you haven’t yet synced the contacts to a Microsoft account do so now. To sync the contacts to a Microsoft account, open the People app on the Windows Phone, tap “…” at the bottom, then tap “settings”

Scroll down to “accounts” and tap “add an account”

From the next screen select “Microsoft account”, enter your Outlook.com or Hotmail.com email address and password, and tap “sign in”
NOTE: if you don’t already have an Outlook.com account, you can create one here.

The Windows Phone contacts will be automatically pushed to the newly-created Microsoft account

On the PC, open a web browser window, navigate to https://login.live.com and sign in with your Microsoft account username and password

Once in your account, navigate to “People”

The Windows Phone contacts are loaded up in the address book of your Microsoft account. Check the box next to “All” to select all contacts at once

Click “Manage > Export to Outlook.com and other services”

A CSV file containing all the Windows Phone contacts will be downloaded to a PC folder of your choice
Next import the Windows Phone contacts to iPhone

Now it’s time to import the CSV file containing the Windows Phone contacts to the iPhone. For the purpose, you need CopyTrans Contacts. Download CopyTrans Contacts on your PC from the following page Transfer Windows Phone contacts to iPhone

Install the program. If you need help installing CopyTrans Contacts, please refer to this article

Run CopyTrans Contacts, connect the iPhone to the PC, and click on the “Import contacts” button

From the popup select “From a file (all contact formats)”

Navigate to the folder on your PC where you saved the CSV file containing the Windows Phone contacts and click “Open”

The contacts are now imported to the iPhone
