If you are using Windows 7 or Windows Vista, please try again using the standalone version of CopyTrans. You'll need to activate it again using your activation details.

If your PC is a Sony Vaio, it may happen that the Content Folder Watch System makes iTunes believe that the music library is corrupt and needs to be deleted. To prevent your PC from deleting your iTunes content, please follow these steps:

1.  Choose the option “Run” in your Windows Start-Menu and type “MSconfig.exe”
2.  Go to the 4th Tab called “Services“ and uncheck the option “VAIO Content Folder Watcher” 
3.  Return to iTunes and check if your library now shows 

If it is still empty, please “Backup to iTunes” your iPod or iPhone through CopyTrans. After successfully importing, close and reopen iTunes.
