Search songs listed in iPod library but not on iPod disk

Have you ever noticed that certain songs are skipped by your iPod when you try to play them? This happens to songs that are still listed in your iPod library but whose actual files are missing from your iPod hard drive (disk).

When CopyTrans Doctor finds such songs, it offers three choices according to what you wish to do with your iPod missing songs:

Do nothing

Note: even if you select this option, you will still be able to save the list of your iPod missing songs in order to (re)add them later to your iPod from your CDs or computer library.

Move to CopyTrans Doctor playlist

This option will create a new playlist on your iPod with the missing songs, which comes out very handy if you plan to manually (re)add the missing songs to your iPod later.

Note: when moved to that new playlist, your missing songs will be removed from the iPod playlist(s) they belonged to.

Delete from library

If your primary goal is to clean up your iPod database, go for this option.

Note: even if you opt for this option, you will still be able to save the list of your iPod missing songs (log) in order to manually (re)add them to your iPod later.
